As a non-profit, we’re always accepting donations. Of course monetary donations are appreciated, but we also accept physical goods such as school supplies and items for our assessment baskets. We also welcome volunteers. Your work helps our staff dedicate more time to each child.

Birth to Five has been helping families in Wayne County since 1991. In that time, we have served more than 5000 families through our Parents as Teachers and Healthy Families Programs.
Success Stories
My Parent Educator has helped me begin to read more with my children. Every year, Wayne County dances! Dancing with the Stars of Wayne County puts the fun in fundraiser and is a community favorite. Thank you for helping us exceed our goal in 2020 – over $31,000 was raised to support Birth to Five! Be sure to join us next year!
What We Do
Birth to Five is a non-profit that offers FREE SERVICES creating a family-centered, comprehensive, collaborative and high-quality early childhood system that supports the development, health and early education for any Wayne County, Indiana children from birth through age 5.
FREE Personalized Home Visits
We give information on milestones for each age level with examples of activities to meet those milestones. We also provide Kindergarten Readiness activities.
FREE Group Events
Families are encouraged to attend Playgroup and our many fun community activities.
FREE Developmental & Health Screenings
Our screenings to help identify any development delays and offer support and resources for delays.
FREE Community Resource Networking
Our network of local resources supports families in finding the right direction for the help they’re seeking.
